As we ring in the new year, we are excited to help you strive for your best in fitness, recovery, and emotional wellbeing. We’re all for making big goals, but we’re here to help you achieve the smaller, more impactful day to day goals. Today we’re going to talk about some of our favorite less sexy more practical New Year’s goals.
Start Small
Are you Type A? A go getter? Someone who has 1000 lists of things that you need to do RIGHT NOW? Don’t worry, we get that. It’s also really easy to burn out living life like that, and we want to help you find practical, impactful ways to make a difference in your life this year.
Starting small definitely doesn’t feel like you’re making as big of a splash as huge goals may, but finding attainable, actionable changes adds up to make big change. For instance, choosing to make your bed every day and go to bed by 11pm each night can help keep your life organized, and your sleep routine in order. Add small things to your routine that you can check off (or mark off literally in a bullet journal) and soon you’ll be seeing progress you didn’t think was possible. Something I added in 2024 was nightly resets of the house, and as the year comes to a close, we’re going to bed with the floors vacuumed and swept, the kitchen completely reset, and everything back in its home. This may be dramatic, but it’s literally changed my life.
Again, it’s not a cool resolution. But it’s made my life infinitely better. Find small things that you can use to improve your day to day, pick a few of them, and go from there, Add a few each month, and have a year of compounding resolutions.
Using CBD
Another great option for small resolutions is to add CBD to your routine (we’re so biased we don’t want to talk about it, okay).
