Interview With Our Owner (Part Two!)

This month’s blog is a special treat – our special blog guest is none other than Hannah Lee. We sat down (virtually, of course - who has the time to meet in person) with our owner to talk all things CBD, life, and fun facts earlier this month and get to share them below. Curious what life looks like around here behind the scenes? Keep reading to learn more. As a note, we only edited these for clarity - the rest is all Hannah. 

Tell me about the past year at Lee Hemp! Successes, failures, happenings.
What product changes have you made this year? 
We added a Huckleberry lip balm, as well as tweaks to the base lotion formula to make it more hydrating and shelf stable. 

What is your favorite work memory this year?
I’ve been at a lot of random events giving out samples, etc. and it’s been so fun to interact with both old and new customers in that setting! Highlight event of the year was ToughFest in June at MTNTOUGH.

Looking forward: Anything new we can expect in the next year?
Any upcoming sales? 
More tincture BOGOs and Black Friday sale!

Any new products?
 Not right now - just working on educating our customers on our current product line! I still have a dog treat on the mind, but can’t say it’s “in the works” yet.

Do we get BOGO for Black Friday again? 
40% off for Black Friday and Cyber Monday (a note to me, the writer: schedule emails for Black Friday and Cyber Monday) 

About you:
What is your current favorite product? 
Still Max! Also been using our extra strength cinnamon tincture a lot, and loving it.

What’s in your purse right now? 
So many unlabeled lip balms that are left over from test batches. It’s embarrassing

Would you rather: ski every day for a year but you can’t do any workouts at all, or only do pilates workouts for a year, but you can ski whenever you want? 
Uhhh I don’t like pilates but I think I have to go with option b because it’s more sustainable and I think I’d be broken after skiing everyday for a year.

Favorite book, podcast, or social channel? 
Been digging the tetragrammaton podcast!

What are you loving right now?
 The view out my new living room window! I just moved, and now I can see the mountains and watch the sunrise.

Anything you Want to Wrap Up with?
I really appreciate of how loyal our customers are, and how many of them go out of their way to shoot me and email or a text about how my products have positively impacted them.
